Addamo, Adams, and Bonomo Among Big Sunday Winners
By admin | | 0 Comments |

February 15, 2021 Matthew Pitt Online poker tournaments are massive on Sundays and this fact along brings out the game’s best players. Michael Addamo, Timothy Adams, and Justin Bonomo are just three of those stellar names who managed to take down a Sunday major this weekend. Addamo Takes Down GGPoker Sunday 500 High Rollers $5,250 Michael Addamo enjoyed a super Sunday courtesy of triumphing in the Sunday 500 High Rollers $5,250, a tournament that attracted 113 of the world’s best players to the GGPoker virtual felt. Addamo’s first bullet didn’t go to plan and he crashed out in 76th place. He re-entered and put used his new stack to full effect. The likes of Kristen Bicknell, Matthias Eibinger, Elio Fox, Benjamin Rolle, and Anatoly Filatov busted inside the money places but before the star-studded final table. Austria’s “Filip1” was the final table’s first casualty. Their ninth-place exit awarding a $14,833 prize. Alex Foxen and David Yan then busted. Yan would go on to take down Sunday High Rollers Bounty King $3,150 for $49,300 later in the evening. The exits of Michael Zhang, Aleksei Barkov, Pascal Hartmann, and David Peters left Addamo heads-up against Wiktor Malinowski. Addamo rarely loses when he’s heads-up and that was the case again here. Addamo collected $131,187 for his victory while Malinowski banked $99,898 for his runner-up finish. Defeating Malinowski will go some way to making up for losing a massive $842,000 cash game pot last year. Operators expect “significant uptick” in esports betting on IEM Katowice
By admin | | 0 Comments |

I EM Katowice 2021 is expected to drive a “significant uptick” in esports betting action as the first CS:GO major of the year begins Tuesday, Feb. 16. Esports betting operator Luckbox said the Katowice major has traditionally led to an increase in betting action. While fans will not be allowed at the Spodek Arena in Poland due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, the company is confident the return of elite competition after a difficult 2020 for the esports industry will generate increased interest in the $1 million event. 24 of the world’s best CS:GO teams compete for the $400,000 first prize. “CS:GO fans have been starved of action for much of the past 12 months and IEM Katowice has a special place in their hearts,” said Metodi Zaburtov, Director of Sportsbook at Luckbox, as repoerted by Reuters. “Data from previous years shows us that there is a significant uptick in CS:GO betting at this time of year thanks to IEM Katowice. This is largely due to the quality and popularity of the teams involved, the high-profile nature of the event and intense nature of the competition - with so many matches being played over two weeks.” Top-ranked Astralis is the +310 pre-event favorite by Luckbox, followed by Team Vitality (+380) and Heroic (+500) among the 24-team field. “The fact that the tournament is online is a pity but esports fans have shown a strong willingness to continue to back their favorite teams and try to pick winners in such tournaments throughout the past year,” Zaburtov said. “We expect that to be the case even more for IEM Katowice.” .

End2End signs local deal to develop online bingo in Argentina
By admin | | 0 Comments |

Through a distribution agreement with JSD S.A. "We want to accompany and be part of the process for the award of online gaming licenses taking place in Argentina. The bingo segment, due to its multichannel nature (online, betting shops, mixed offering, among others), is a game that perfectly adapts to the cross-selling between the newly-emerged online market and the existent lottery market, which generates major jackpots and commission for players, betting shops and operators alike," said Alejandro Revich, CEO, End2End. "Without a doubt, JSD’s experience in both markets fits the profile we were looking for, so we are completely satisfied with this agreement." Revich added that "JSD has been a major local asset for the definitive arrival of End2End in Argentina."  Jorge Diment, CEO, JSD e-Gaming Solutions S.A., said "traditional bingo is social and family game in nature, it serves as a link in the coexistence of online and land-based operations even as a promotional product. Players need no training to play bingo: it is a traditional game one learns when we are little." "The possibility to sell bingo cards at shop or online allows to boost a great business for operators, regulators and even local distributors such as lottery shops," Diment explained. “It is a comprehensive product which allows lottery shops to be part of the business." .

AgeChecked and Rdentify partner to help identify vulnerable players
By admin | | 0 Comments |

R dentify uses AI and cutting-edge technology to monitor live chats, giving each customer a score based on their risk of gambling-related harm. Through natural language processing (NLP), they can monitor every line from a company’s live chat and use machine learning models to highlight early signs of self-exclusion and problem gambling. Their risk-based scoring system works in real-time and easily integrates with your company’s CRM using a simple traffic light system to denote the level of risk. Instances of concern will be highlighted to customer support staff, who can then deal with the situation in an effective manner in line with the operator’s safer gambling policies. This can be done either through the CRM or Rdentify’s own API. Agehecked are the market leaders in age verification software and offers monitoring solutions for the iGaming industry across every stage of the customer journey. Their partnership with Rdentify will particularly help operators fulfill their licensing conditions in ensuring the ongoing monitoring of all players with continued KYC and due diligence, as well as in the prevention of gambling-related harm. The signs of problem gambling are often subtle and spread across multiple areas of the business. Players also often chat to different support agents over time, meaning vulnerable players and their common cues are often missed. The sheer number of live chats on a day-to-day basis also make it difficult for humans to monitor. The Rdentify solution can integrate and analyse all of this data, both historical and current. By integrating AI into your pre-existing systems, the chance of spotting the signs of problem gambling earlier are therefore significantly increased. An operator’s risk data can also be visualised so in-depth trend analysis can be studied, while Rdentify never process or store any personal data. All such data is anonymised and only the player ID will be transferred through the engine. The system has been developed by consulting some of the iGaming industry’s best data science, compliance and operations experts, meaning it is tailor-made for gambling operators. Like AgeChecked’s systems, Rdentify’s is regularly updated to accommodate new problem identification factors and legislation changes, meaning the solution is flexible as well as scalable. With the issue of responsible gambling becoming increasingly important, particularly in the British media ahead of the review of the 2005 Gambling Act, the scrutiny on the gambling industry and their responsibilities has never been higher. There are approximately 430,000 problem gamblers in the UK and two million identified as being at risk, with the industry suffering huge reputational damage in recent years due to these figures. Rdentify allows you to identify these problem gamblers with increased accuracy and prevent them from gambling on your site, thus increasing compliance with Safer Gambling legislation and reducing fines and reputational damage. Rdentify and AgeChecked also enable operators to mitigate legal threats to operators while putting player protection front and centre of your operation. Speaking about this importance, Daniel Brookes, the CEO of Rdentify, said: “Online gambling operators rely solely on customer support agents to recognise the signs of problem gambling during their live chat interactions. Globally, the iGaming industry is highly regulated and fast-growing, with a strong focus on player protection. Since 2017 in the UK, remote operators have been fined more than £63.5m by the UK Gambling Commission for social responsibility failings. “Rdentify provides a scalable natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning-based engine which flags end-user vulnerability risk during live chat interactions. Rdentify seamlessly integrates with the operators’ existing operational systems and outputs clear, actionable scores and risk categorisation in real-time. This solution de-risks the operator, protects end-users and allows for a superior customer experience.” On announcing the partnership with AgeChecked, Brookes said: “I am delighted to be announcing our partnership with AgeChecked. Not only does it give us a fantastic opportunity to work with a forward-thinking, well-known tech company, but their customer-centered approach matches with our own. “Their focus on customer protection, which is delivered in an easy to digest and business-friendly manner, goes hand-in-hand with our own ethos, which we believe will help to deliver a strong and successful partnership for many years to come.” Alastair Graham, the Founder and CEO of AgeChecked, said: “The issue of Responsible Gambling has never been more important, so we are delighted to partner with Rdentify in offering a holistic solution for operators. “Combining AgeChecked’s cutting-edge age verification software with Rdentify’s live chat monitoring, our solution can ensure full compliance across every stage of the customer journey. We are committed to reducing gambling-related harm and helping operators obtain and maintain their regulatory compliance. We see innovative technological solutions such as those employed by Rdentify as being key in the fight against problem gambling.” .

Bovada is such a scam its a joke
By admin | | 0 Comments |

I am laughing at how much a scam this website really is. I feel pretty retarded for using bovada.I've used bovada for sports betting for a few years and never had a problem with their site paying out my winnings etc. I enjoy live dealer and poker tables but they're usually filled with bots lately so I don't bother. Anyways football season is over so I wanted to earn some points for my rewards.Long story short, I was close to a upgrading my rewards points from "pro 3" to allstar which makes your rewards higher value. I had a few hundred lying around after some superbowl winnings. I figured I would rack up some points on their slots to meet that goal.Holy. Shit. They paid out about 15% on slots! What a scam. I have played slots for fun and free drinks with friends/family in real life and usually you get some actual entertainment out of it. Real slot machines have free spins and shit to keep you playing... or even more if you're lucky. Sure it's always a scam for the casinos but this online site is entirely rigged. Yea I said it, the big R word for gamblers. Rigged. What a joke.Do not use bovada. At all. What a scam. I feel bad for people that use it to regularly gamble.I went through nearly $400 of autospins (200 at $2) and got back only $55. Granted, I don't expect to win on a slot machine, but to watch nearly every single spin lose is a joke. What a scam lol. I feel rewarded getting an extra $30 from losing $400.Yea thats about it, not touching this garbage site until next football season.

Seven final poker quotes to inspire you
By admin | | 0 Comments |

When it’s played right, poker should inspire everyone at the table, win or lose. Of course it’s nice to walk away from the felt a winner, but it shouldn’t define your mood. If it does, maybe you’re in the wrong game.Better a rye smile and a few funny words than anything is our motto and it’s with that spirit in mind that we present to you seven final quotes from the great game to inspire your own week at the felt.Let’s get the lesson on!1. “People would be surprised to know how much I learned about prayer from playing poker.”Mary Austin makes the surprise call about a player’s beliefs at the poker table. Have you ever been all-in against an opponent and they’ve called upon ‘The Poker Gods’ to save them despite veering between only agnostic or downright atheist? This isn’t uncommon in real life, actually. In times of peril, many people will summon a higher power for help having previously never believed. We think any God might be quite busy saving the starving and hungry to assist in preventing that one-outer landing on the river, but what do we know?2. “If you play bridge badly you make your partner suffer, but if you play poker badly you make everybody happy.”Joe Laurie Jr. hits the nail on the head, as in poker it really is you against the world. If the world wins, then they want you back at the table as soon as possible. If you win, well you’re happy. It sounds like the easiest thing to be a winner at poker, but it is of course, very difficult. Getting to know how your table (and in microcosm, the poker world) plays, is of course, key. There’s no way around playing at the felt to do this, so stay sharp by staying at the table.3. “Even Jesus wouldn’t bet all of his chips on a Jack-three.”Phil Gordon is inclined to believe that Jesus would have been tight-aggressive or at the very least tight-passive and who are we to disagree. What would Jesus’ favourite hands be? Well it’s hard to look past the son of God set-mining with the cowboys in order to get three kings – that would be the Jesus play. It’s unlikely he’d even call the flop with pocket sixes for fear of landing the hand of the devil – 666.4. “I was tired, a little the worse for drink, jet lagged and light-headed – four out of four conditions in which one should certainly not play poker in Las Vegas.”There aren’t many people we respect more in poker than Anthony Holden, who is better health than he has enjoyed recently, spoke to us way back in 2012 at the inaugural IFP poker event at the Rotunda in London. If you haven’t read Anthony Holdens seminal poker book Big Deal, then read our review of it right here and make it your next poker purchase – it’s wonderful.5. “Baseball is like a poker game. Nobody wants to quit when he’s losing; nobody wants you to quit when you’re ahead.”Jackie Robinson is bang right about one of the most important things to remember about playing poker and quitting while you’re ahead. No-one wins forever in poker, but those who learn to walk away from the table with profit on a consistent basis win the long game. In the end, the only battle is with yourself.6. “Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.”Steven Wright with one of the funniest lines about poker ever written. Just the visualization of a home game with Tarot cards is enough to make us chuckle, but if you get tired of poker, you can always look at our article we published over Christmas which talks about other card games you might like to play. 7. “The next best thing about gambling and winning is gambling and losing.”Nick ‘The Greek’ Dandalos had an appetite for gambling that was insatiable and he knew that win or lose, if you’re taking part, you’re enjoying it to some extent. Poker is like that and if you’re in a chair, virtual or otherwise, you can have fun.If you’re playing poker tonight, then enjoy it! It’s enormous fun and should be enjoyed whenever you sit down to play. We hope that you’ve loved this look at some of the best quotes from the world of poker as much as we’ve enjoyed putting it together.
